Michelle (Williamson) Milbourn

With experience in recruitment and executive that spans a whopping 20 years and three search practices under her belt, Michelle has developed a sixth sense for helping founders build teams made of the right stuff.

Michelle is passionate about putting her clients’ needs first, earning their trust, working to understand and define the particular challenges of each client by collaborating closely with founders and investors of fast-growth SaaS companies to help them build transformational leadership teams.

Michelle doesn’t see the executive search process as transactional, she believes in working with her clients round-to-round to help clients overcome the different set of challenges each growth stage presents. To date, Kommol has successfully placed candidates in over 150 VC and private-equity-backed (most commonly between Series A and series D funding round) European headquartered companies and has built a reputation as the search partner clients return to repeatedly as they grow their board and senior leadership teams.

Proud to be one of Notion Capital’s first strategic partners and part of Notion’s expert programme, Michelle and Kommol have now built strong relationships with many VCs across Europe. To stay on top of their field Kommol constantly tracks the trends and changing dynamics of leadership teams within the top 450 + SaaS companies in Europe. Michelle personally created and runs Kommol Core – our internal database tracking system building relationships with those individuals rated as game changing candidates within the European tech community. She tracks the most highly referred and ranked individuals across 6 role functions: CRO, CPO, CMO, CFO, COO and CEO – with a core focus on those that have led growth from circa $5m ARR to >$75m ARR, and those behind the most successful exits.

Michelle is also a regular speaker on the SaaS circuit and always welcomes new opportunities to talk about new trends in building the best leadership teams.
